Background and Rationale
In the rapidly evolving field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), secure and resilient communication is paramount. As UAVs are increasingly used in critical applications—ranging from commercial deliveries to surveillance and emergency response—the need for robust communication systems that can prevent cyber threats and ensure uninterrupted operations is essential. Traditional security measures are often inadequate due to the dynamic and decentralized nature of UAV operations. This special issue aims to explore innovative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that can enhance the security and resilience of UAV communications.
Objective
The objective of this special issue is to gather cutting-edge research that addresses the challenges of securing UAV communications through AI-driven technologies. It seeks to highlight novel methodologies, theoretical advancements, practical applications, and case studies that demonstrate how AI can be leveraged to improve the reliability and security of UAV networks.
Topics
