Summary

Innovative applications of artificial intelligence in pattern recognition and visual data processing and hiding are currently setting the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and automatic data processing. Both pattern recognition processes and techniques, as well as methods for hiding visual data using artificial intelligence methods, offer opportunities to use advanced protocols for protecting and securing data. Applications of artificial intelligence in the broader processes of pattern recognition and data hiding show the possibilities of combining the areas of data analysis with the processes of data protection.

These topics, as well as others related to innovative applications of artificial intelligence in the areas of pattern recognition and visual data processing and hiding, will be the focus of this special issue.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following scope:

· Applications of AI in pattern recognition

· Visual data processing and hiding

· Advanced visual authorization codes

· New approaches of data processing, and semantic analysis

· Innovative protocols of visual data hiding

· Computational intelligence in advanced data analysis, and knowledge extraction

· Advanced protocols for visual data division and distribution
