Summary

With the rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, mobile computing has emerged as a critical enabler for real-time data processing, efficient communication, and intelligent decision-making. The integration of mobile computing with IoT fosters new paradigms in smart cities, healthcare, industrial automation, and intelligent transportation systems, among others. However, the increasing demand for ubiquitous connectivity, resource efficiency, and security presents significant challenges that require novel solutions.    


This special issue aims to explore recent advancements in mobile computing techniques tailored for IoT ecosystems. We seek high-quality contributions addressing cutting-edge research, innovative architectures, and novel applications that enhance the performance, security, and scalability of mobile IoT systems.


We invite original research articles and comprehensive review papers on topics

including, but not limited to:

• Wireless sensing and network intelligence for IoT applications

• Emerging IoT networking technologies (e.g., LPWANs and 5G/6G)

• Mobile edge and fog computing for IoT

• Computer network architectures for IoT

• AI and machine learning for mobile IoT systems

• Security and privacy in mobile IoT networks

• Energy-efficient mobile computing for IoT devices

• Blockchain for secure mobile IoT applications

• IoT data analytics and processing in mobile environments

• Cyber-physical systems and IoT integration with mobile networks

• Wearable and ubiquitous computing for IoT

• Resource allocation and optimization in mobile IoT ecosystems
