Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing industries such as healthcare, finance, critical infrastructure, and robotics. The rise of AI-driven applications and humanoid robots introduces new security challenges, including adversarial attacks, model vulnerabilities, data privacy risks, and ethical concerns. Additionally, the advent of quantum computing poses both opportunities and threats to AI security, challenging conventional cryptographic mechanisms while offering new approaches to cybersecurity. Moreover, as AI-powered humanoid robots become more integrated into society, ensuring their security, trustworthiness, and forensic traceability is paramount.
This special issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research on cybersecurity threats, defense mechanisms, digital forensics, and quantum-era security challenges in AI applications and humanoid robotics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
· AI Security Threats: Adversarial machine learning, data poisoning, backdoor attacks, and AI-powered cyber threats.
· Defense Mechanisms: Robust AI models, adversarial training, privacy-preserving AI, explainability, and secure federated learning.
· AI-Powered Cybersecurity: AI-driven intrusion detection, malware analysis, automated threat response, and intelligent risk assessment.
· Trust, Privacy, and Compliance: AI ethics, fairness, bias mitigation, privacy risks, and regulatory compliance in AI security.
· Secure AI Deployment: Security challenges in AI-based cloud computing, IoT, edge AI, and critical infrastructure protection.
· Digital Forensics in AI Security: AI-based forensic analysis, deepfake detection, forensic evidence extraction from AI-driven attacks, and forensic readiness for AI incidents.
· Quantum Computing and AI Security: Post-quantum cryptography, quantum-safe encryption, quantum-based cybersecurity solutions, and the impact of quantum computing on AI security.
· Cybersecurity in Humanoid Robots: Security vulnerabilities in AI-driven humanoid robots, human-AI interaction risks, and forensic analysis of AI-based robotic systems.
This special issue invites researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to contribute original research, case studies, and review articles addressing the evolving security landscape in AI applications, humanoid robots, and quantum computing. Through interdisciplinary discussions, this issue aims to advance AI security, enhance forensic methodologies, and prepare for quantum-era cybersecurity challenges.
