Cancer is a major global health issue that significantly impacts both public health and individuals’ well-being. In addition to surgical and medical interventions, psycho-oncology has recently gained significant attention given the importance of addressing psychological, social, cultural, and ethical aspects of cancer care.

This special issue aims to explore the global and interdisciplinary dimensions of psychosocial oncology, showcasing innovative research and practices, as well as diverse perspectives, which help address the unique challenges in cancer management worldwide.

We invite contributions for this special issue from a broad range of authors, including oncologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, health economists, and lifestyle medicine practitioners, and other cancer care professionals, with the hope to bring together multidisciplinary insights to lead to effective and holistic cancer care practices that help address the complex needs of cancer patients and improve clinical outcomes.
