Aims & Scope

Journal of Intelligent Medicine and Healthcare is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal that integrates mathematics, computer science and artificial intelligence with medicine and healthcare science and services, embracing medical engineering and information science research, coupled with topics related to the modelling of medicine and healthcare problems and the design, development, and management of medicine and healthcare intelligent systems.

 

The journal covers topics which include but are not limited to:

1. Design, development, and usage of medical or healthcare devices and equipment.

2. Development of software, hardware, and algorithms to collect, store, analyze, and optimize the medical/ health/biomedicine information, such as patient medical records, physiological sensor data, healthcare information, bioinformation and prognostic and diagnostic information

3. Development of novel mathematical, machine learning, deep learning, and data mining algorithms for pattern recognition, information retrieval, and knowledge discovery of medical/health/biomedicine data.

4. Security and privacy issues in processing, analyzing, and transferring medical/health/biomedicine data.

5. Design, development and management of Telemedicine and E-health systems.

6. Rehabilitation medicine and elderly health.

7. Intelligent algorithms and information systems for public health and epidemiology.

8. Design, development and improvement of medical and healthcare policies and standards.

9.  Analysis of Ethics and social issues of medical and healthcare systems.

10. Design and development of new architectures, applications, and services for solving medical and healthcare engineering problems.
