In an original research, we discovered that engaging in regular physical activity significantly reduces the risk of anxiety and depression symptoms in youth with chronic pain. findings reveal that children and adolescents who participate in at least 60 minutes of physical activity several days a week are less likely to experience these internalizing problems. Conversely, high levels of sedentary behavior, such as spending four or more hours daily in front of screens, increase the likelihood of anxiety and depression. The study underscores the importance of promoting active lifestyles to combat mental health issues in this vulnerable population.
