Road construction deteriorates over time due to factors like traffic loading and environmental conditions. To address these challenges efficiently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems must be utilized. AI assists in scheduling preservation and rehabilitation treatments, thereby extending the service life and improving the performance of roads. AI is revolutionizing various industries, including road construction. AI is reshaping road construction by optimizing planning and design, enabling predictive maintenance, enhancing machinery performance, ensuring quality control, improving traffic management, reducing environmental impact, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and fostering continuous improvement. As AI technologies continue to evolve, the road construction industry stands to benefit from increased efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
