    Associations of Sport Participation with Depression and Anxiety among Chinese Minority Adolescents

    Abstract This study aimed to explore associations of sport participation with anxiety and depressive symptoms among Chinese minority adolescents. A cross-sectional study was conducted among Chinese adolescents in Tibet. A convenience sample method was used to select participants. Finally, 1452 students completed the survey and 1421 (52.10% girls, Grades 4–9, 13.46 ± 1.41 years old) adolescents met the inclusion criteria of analysis. Sociodemographic variables, sport participation, depression and anxiety were evaluated by self-reported questionnaires.     Abstract Post-buckling and panel flutter behaviors of ceramic-metal FGM plates are studied for the skins of supersonic aircrafts. The effects of asymmetric material and temperature distributions, as well as the aerodynamic loads, on the thermo-mechanical response of FGM plates are discussed using finite element simulations. The aero-thermo-elastic model is established by using the simple power law material distribution, the rule of mixture for material effective properties, the nonlinear Fourier equations of heat conduction, von-Karman strain-displacement nonlinear relations, and the piston theory for supersonic aerodynamics.     Abstract In order to better understand the physical process of deformation and cyclic softening a 12% Cr martensitic stainless steel FV566 has been cyclically tested at high temperature in strain control. Increase in temperature was found to increase the cyclic life, softening rate and viscous stress magnitude. An increase in the dwell time led to the acceleration of the material degradation.     Aeroelastic Analysis of a Supercritical Airfoil with Free-Play in Transonic Flow

    Abstract An investigation has been made into the nonlinear aeroelastic behavior of a supercritical airfoil (NLR 7301) considering free-play in transonic flow. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) based on NavierStokes equations is implemented to calculate unsteady aerodynamic forces. A loosely coupled scheme with steady CFD and a graphic method are developed to obtain the static aeroelastic position.
